How It Works
Members
Memberships have a minimum commitment of 1 year before they are allowed to cancel their plan. During the year we understand that you will most likely be busy, not only getting your book into the hands of potential readers and promoting your books, but you may also be writing a new book. We can always add your book and if an upgrade is needed at any time during your 1 year commitment, we can make that happen quick and easy!
The same goes with down grading. For whatever reason if you would like to remove a book and by doing that it may require that the lower plan is needed, then we will down grade that the following month.
Non-Members
Our Non-Members are not required to commit to any length of time to Authors Hub. The Author will pay on a month-to-month basis with zero contract or commitment. This is recommended for those who are still uncertain whether they want to join our membership program. However, no matter if you are a member or not, we commit to making you and your book our priority. Period.
Membership Requirements
The membership agreement is non-refundable and non-transferable to another author. The rates are subject to change upon a 60 day notice from Authors Hub via email at any time.
Payments will remain on a monthly basis for a minimum of 12 full months. Payments will continue until 30 days written notice of the intent to cancel is received. Cancellation requests are to be sent to us via the contact form on our website. (Click HERE to access our contact form)
All payments will be taken each month starting the day you signed up. If for any reason you wish to opt out of the monthly payment program or make any account information changes. I may do so by providing Authors Hub’s indicated below with written notice before the first day of the 13th month preceding the month in which cancellation/change is to be in effect (Cancellation or change requires a 30 day notice which is to be sent via the contact form).
In the event payment is declined/return for whatever reason, such payments will be subject to a $25 NSF charge, which will be collected on or before my the next charge date. Fees may be collected in person or added to the following month’s regular scheduled payments.
**Membership payments are made in CAD currency for Canadian citizens and in USD for all International subscribers.
Royalties
Most of our stores take about 40% and you keep about 60% of the list price of your E-book.
For print books, you will make about 45% of the list price of your print book, minus the base printing cost.
The long answer is that each store has their own specific policies and taxes are specific to your location. We will inform you fully prior to making your book go live of the price. We will give you a break down of estimated royalties on a store-by-store basis based on your list price. If you change your list price, these estimated royalties will live update immediately.
NOTE: We are NOT responsible for the sale of your books. We ONLY publish them to all the major retailers in the world. We are not responsible for the results of the sales of your books, nor can we improve the sale of your books. We can only promise to make your book/s exposed across the world, but, we can not promise you that more book sales will be guaranteed. Results vary and are dependent on the efforts and initiatives of the Author and not Authors Hub.
